Truth in Advertising - The SNAFU license plate on this 1949 MG TC was pretty accurate.  Collision damage to the left wing and frame, a rough 'lizard green metallic' paint job, tired chrome, ratty wiring, and more than a half-century of improvising by previous owners had taken their toll.  The car was stripped down to the bare frame and rebuilt as new.  The TC has taken top honors in every show it has been entered in:
  • First Junior, 2009 AACA Southeastern Winter Meet (Charlotte, NC)
  • Senior Award, 2009 AACA Southeastern Spring Meet (Gettysburg, PA)
  • Best Vintage MG, 2009 Brown's Island Import Car Show (Richmond, VA)
  • Best Foreign Car, 2009 Tidewater Region AACA Wings and Wheels Show
  • First Place 2010 AACA Grand National Meet (New Bern, NC)
